OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION

AVL, short for Aviela, derives its name from the Dagbani language of Ghana, where “Aviela” means “You are beautiful.” As an African, Ghanaian fashion brand, we take pride in showcasing the beauty of African prints through contemporary styles that resonate with
modern fashion sensibilities.

Our commitment doesn’t stop there. At AVL, we’re not just about selling clothes; we’re about making a meaningful impact. We firmly believe in giving back to the communities that have inspired us. That’s why a significant portion of our proceeds goes towards supporting needy communities in Ghana and throughout Africa.

Through strategic partnerships with reputable foundations dedicated to community development, we channel our resources to where they are needed most. Whether it’s providing access to education, healthcare, or basic necessities, we strive to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

When you choose to purchase from AVL, you’re not just investing in quality clothing; you’re investing in a brighter future for communities in need. Together, we can make a real difference and create positive change. Join us in our mission of fashion with a purpose, where every purchase helps us extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

OUR PARTNERSHIP

AVL proudly partners with two esteemed foundations in Ghana: Maltiti Foundation and CHIF Foundation. Let’s dive into their remarkable work:

MALTITI Foundation

Founded in 2018, Maltiti Foundation is dedicated to empowering women in rural Ghana. They believe in the transformative power of supporting women, aiming to provide sustainable economic opportunities, quality education, healthcare, and nutrition to women in deprived communities. By focusing on skills development and entrepreneurship, they strive to uplift women and contribute to the development of their communities. Since its inception, Maltiti Foundation has successfully implemented projects such as the Women in Agric Project, providing employment to over 350 women, and the Health and Tourism Project, offering healthcare to thousands.

CHIF Foundation

Driven by the belief that meaningful change requires commitment and involvement, CHIF Foundation focuses on leadership, education, and innovation. Their Women in Agriculture project empowers women by providing training, funding, and logistical support for farming ventures, creating dignified employment opportunities. The Health and Tourism initiative brings together tourism enthusiasts to provide free health education and screenings to rural communities. Additionally, their Females in IT project promotes gender equality and supports women in rural Ghana to thrive in the IT industry.

Both foundations have made significant impacts since their inception, with CHIF Ghana boasting partnerships with 50 schools and providing quality education to over 15,000 children. Through their dedication and collaboration with AVL, we’re proud to support their efforts in making a positive difference in Ghanaian communities.
